Queremos Paz | We Want Peace

The song, by Gotan Project , consists of one simple, yet powerful line:

“Queremos construir una vida mejor para nuestro pueblo”

or translated, We want to build a better world for our people

Its time to get back to writing. I first created this blog when I was about to begin a new adventure in India almost eighteen months ago. I knew it was going to be one helluva experience, and I wanted to document it via this blog so that my friends back in the US could keep up with all the fun I was having.

Well, my sojourn to India is almost coming to an end as I head back to the US in two weeks. These last seventeen months have been the most intense, challenging, and wonderful months of my life, and yet, the blog remains empty. I can probably offer a multitude of reasons for this, but it can all be condensed into one simple reason – I just didn’t feel like writing about it.

As I head back to my second home to begin a brand new journey, it feels like it is my second coming to the Land of Opportunity. Except this time, I am inspired. Inspired to create. Inspired to build. And just as importantly, inspired to write.
